ABOUT THE ACADEMY

CASS Academy consists of 1.5 acre training ground with 4 training classrooms and a fully equipped fibre lab. Having a capacity for up to 32 learners/candidates at any one time. The facility has 17 full sized telegraph poles, 2 hollow poles and 6 nursery poles for overhead training such as modern Ultra lightweight fibre skills. Over 900m of 4 way underground ducts with 28 BT boxes for cabling and blown fibre training.

For very niche fibre blowing training we have 6 duct loops of 400m each where learners train on blowing cable, rope, bundles and dart techniques. With 2 confined space training chambers and a BT manhole on site we have replicated the real thing in the field telecom domain that our graduates will work on after accreditation. We have built a dedicated Fibre only fibre training room and that is supported by 3 satellite training spaces on site.

A welfare facility with seating area for candidate lunch breaks is also available. We have the full ability to train and accredit candidates in various skills required for fibre works and health and safety, including Streetworks NRSWA, CSCS card award (EUSR), Confined Spaces  and Smart Awards modules of accreditation.
