ROLE OVERVIEW

About the role:

CASS MUC – Multi-Utility Infrastructure, Delivered with Confidence.

From early-stage design through to final connection and network adoption, we deliver integrated gas, water, electrical and telecoms infrastructure across the UK — simplifying delivery, reducing risk and keeping projects moving.

We’re looking for a Finance & Project Coordinator to support both the financial administration and day-to-day coordination of projects. This is a varied role within a growing business, ideal for someone organised, proactive and keen to develop their skills.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will support both the financial and operational sides of the business, helping to keep projects running efficiently and accurately:

  • Raising purchase orders and tracking project spend

  • Preparing invoices and monitoring payments

  • Supporting basic bookkeeping, VAT and finance processes

  • Maintaining project and financial trackers

  • Coordinating project activities and updating internal systems

  • Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to keep work on track

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

  • Working collaboratively across departments to keep projects running smoothly

What we're looking for:

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to develop within a growing business environment:

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively

  • Strong communication skills with a proactive, can-do approach

  • Comfortable following up on payments, missing information and actions

  • Experience in utilities, telecoms or construction is advantageous but not essential

Required skills and experience:

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Confidence using Excel and working with data

  • Previous experience in admin, finance or coordination

  • Understanding of basic finance processes (invoicing, purchase orders, VAT, etc.)

  • Experience using internal systems or trackers

  • Experience in utilities, telecoms or construction is advantageous but not essential

What you'll get:

CASS MUC is committed to supporting and investing in our people. In return for your skills and professionalism, we offer:

  • Competitive salary based on experience

  • Hybrid working, with a mix of office and home-based flexibility

  • Opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, expanding business

  • Company pension and access to an Employee Assistance Programme
