We fuse the fibres in such a way that light passing through the fibres is not scattered or reflected back by the splice, and so that the splice and the region surrounding it are almost as strong as the intact fibre.
We can create a temporary joint and/or connect the fibre to a piece of network equipment or splices which create a permanent joint between the two fibres.
The days of copper cable are limited and here at CASS we can replace the copper wiring with a more reliable fibre optic solution.
